Canada Winter Games
Canada Winter Games is the premier National multisport event for aspiring young athletes, held every two years, alternating summer and winter. The 2023 Canada Winter Games are being hosted by PEI in the capitol city of Charlottetown and will welcome over 3600 participants across 20 sports.

Judo is scheduled for week 2 (Feb 26-Mar 5) with both an individual (Mar 1/2) and team tournament (Mar 4). A total of 14 athletes were selected for Team Ontario. The team is led by coaches Carline Young and An Jeong-Hwan, with James Cunningham attending as manager.

Individual Competition - Update & Results
Ontario had a great showing in the individual competition at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Charlottetown, PEI. All the athletes competed with pride representing Team Ontario and after two days of competition, Ontario judoka captured 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. Those results put Ontario in medal contention in both the Men’s and Women’s team tournament on Saturday and contribute to the overall medal count for Team Ontario.
