Congratulations to Shady El Nahas on another incredible performance, this time at the 2021 IJF Grand Slam in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Shady had a perfect day of competition, winning all 5 of his contests to claim top spot on the podium, a perfect way to celebrate his 23rd birthday over the weekend. The result lays out his serious intent for the upcoming World Championships in Budapest, Hungary and for the Tokyo 202ONE Olympic Games this summer.
He is on the verge of Olympic qualification and currently is ranked (7th) within a seeding position for the TOKYO Games.
Shady will be back in action this weekend at the IJF Antalya Grand Slam in Turkey, along with Jessica Klimkait (-57kg) and Mohab El Nahas (-90kg)
Best of luck to all our athletes!!
