Antalya Grand Slam, Turkey.
What an opening day in Antalya with a golden return to the IJF stage for Jessica Klimkait! This was her first event back since her stellar performance at the Tokyo Olympic Games and the Whitby native did not look like she missed a beat.
The Ontarian went a perfect 5-0 with an impressive mixture of explosive throws and seamless newaza transition, to take the top step on the Grand Slam podium. She defeated Korkmaz (TUR), Ermaganbetova (UZB), Mokdar (FRA), Lima (BRA) and Cysique (FRA) on route to her gold medal!
